I really enjoy sports. Since I enjoy sports, I have a few favorite teams. My favorites are:
St. Louis Cardinals
St. Louis Rams
St. Louis Blues
Los Angles Lakers
Missouri Tigers
I like those teams because I grew up near St. Louis, and I like the Lakers because Shaquille O'Neal is my favorite basketball player. Because I like those teams, I root for them. I do this by going to games, buying merchandise, and tweeting about them- which is important:)
Due to my loyalty, I also have certain teams I don't like.
I don't like the Cubs, Nebraska, Kansas, the Red Wings, and the Reds.
Now I can choose to talk trash on these teams if I want to (and I do at times), but I like to think I'm not a big jerk about it.
Some people I feel take it too far at times and make themselves look like big idiots. I don't understand why people worry so much about the other team. I feel like its a short man syndrome type of thing. Why waste so much time talking trash about the other team when you could use it to root on your own team? Or make a sandwich. (If you don't like sandwiches you need to reevaluate your eating habits.)
When it comes down to sports, I just like to remind myself that it's just a game, and its not worth my time getting all bent out of shape or trying to get someone else all bent out of shape.
I like to just root for my team and let the teams I don't like worry about themselves. Someone else can be an idiot and make themselves look like an idiot.
We all know Jesus loves the St. Louis Cardinals.
